Massively Overpriced

Your service technician was very nice and knowledgable, but everything else about the experience was poor and your prices are outrageous.

I came by with an Inokim Ox that was intermittently cutting out (sometimes it would turn on and just not move, sometimes it wouldn't even charge). I ended up getting some electric tape on a frayed wire (which had done once before myself, very easy, he just re-did it to see if a fresh coat would help the problem), a new plastic cover over where the wires go into the motor to protect them (apparently a design flaw because the new versions of Ox come with it), and brake pads: all for $200. I was told the real fix would require another trip to replace the motor, with a price of $400 + labor (It's always $95 just to walk in the door), so around $500 on a machine worth barely that.

The next week, I went to FluidFreeRide in Brooklyn and bought a much higher-powered machine (Nami Klima), and the experience was so much better. They even told me that they'd replace the motor on my old Inokim Ox for $255 including parts and labor, so I could sell it and recoup money to put towards the new one. I do not recommend the east village Inokim location, full stop.
